Moink Balls

Bacon Meatballs
Moo + Oink = Moink
 Moink Balls are probably one of the more unusual names when it comes to BBQ but don’t kid yourself, this very simple creation will soon become one of the greatest appetizers that will ever grace your BBQ gathering.  When it comes to BBQ you typically will decide between 2 main proteins, Beef and Pork.  Well with Moink Balls you are combining the MOO and the OINK!!!


  • 12 Italian style frozen meatballs, precooked and partially thawed
  • 6 strips bacon, cut in half
  • Your favorite Spice Rub
  • Your Favorite BBQ Sauce or Glaze


  1. Wrap each meatball with a half strip of bacon and secure it with a toothpick.
  2. Sprinkle Spice Rub over the bacon-wrapped meatballs.
  3. Smoke over indirect heat at 250-275 degrees for about 1 hour until the bacon is done to your liking.
  4. Five minutes before removing the balls from the smoker, baste them with the sauce.
  5.  Serve immediately and enjoy
